Using My Digital Pen

I am writer because I write.

I am a writer because some people read what I write.

So I guess then, by definition I am a writer.

If you ask me I don't feel like a writer. And my mom might agree. She won't call me a writer until she has a book in her hands that she can share with her family and friends. Writing on the internet does not make me a writer. I just laugh because she's of a certain era and that's all she knows. Seems like that is all I know as well.

My dream is and has always been to become a published writer. Every class I take and every word I add to my stories bring me one step closer to making this dream a reality. Even though I spend most of my time looking like this photo above when I am supposed to be writing. I am optimistic that I will get on a productive schedule. Eventually.

Either way, I am ready for the ride in this Digital Story Telling class. Looks like its going to be and adventurous one.
